The shock-resistance factor for the Presage is the DiaShock which, when subjected to shocks doesn’t let the balance-staff pivot get damaged and preserves the balance wheel’s rotation axis. It absorbs impacts, reduces friction and offers optimum balance-wheel amplitude. The Magic Lever shortens the winding times, which again contributes to the longevity of the watch. The Spron mainspring and hairspring alloys are also responsible.
